My Hotel California

Muscle spasms and twitches

My whole body itches

My chest cavity tightens

My heart races

The roads in my mind

Begging me to free my feet

While the sweat on my face

Is cooled by the wind gusts

I cannot face

Gliding down and flying high

I may have checked out

But I can never leave

Sweet champagne on ice

That I can’t even drink

But I will toke twice
