A Lonely Dance

She dances around in her robe
Feeling grand in her humble abode

A cigarette in hand but she doesn’t smoke

She sips and she tokes
The room fills with smoke

The years have gone by
Her tears are now dry

And still she wonders why

She dances with pain
As she laughs in disdain

She grimaces again at the lies that he spoke

Her reflection is clear
Her love was too dear

She laughs with great cheer;

If all goes well
He'll go to Hell.
